ITEC education

The Universal Science Bench uses renewable energy to power a Science and ICT teaching bench for use in any environment where mains electricity is unavailable or the supply is unstable. It therefore enables Science & ICT teaching in any location without the need for mains electricity.

The heavy duty batteries contained within the unit provide an independent power supply from renewable energy sources utilising both solar and wind power. This battery power maintains a constant energy supply via a power management system to ensure that power is always

available. There is also the facility to charge the Bench by using a vehicle or alternatively by mains power.

The Universal Science Bench (USB) provides running water through a standard laboratory tap and is supplied with a low voltage water pump and separate clean and waste water tanks. There is also a waste sink for wet experiments and waste disposal. A gas tap on the bench allows the use of a traditional Bunsen burner which are included, employing a butane gas supply. Additionally, there is a low voltage power outlet for bench top experiments requiring 2 to 10 volts.

The Bench is topped by Trespa chemical resistant surface which has a 10 year guarantee as well as pull-out Trespass shelves for extra working surfaces.
